Apostolides and Betts in Windsor

BookThug and Windsor Ontario, a love story? Well, at least two authors are on Windsor’s good side. Greg Betts (author of If Language and Haikube through BookThug and The Others Raisd in Me through Pedlar Press) just got back from the southernmost city and has posted a round up of his visit, which includes Don Cherry and Bobby Orr sightings and, appropriately, a lot of trips to bars (fond memories for us Windsor expats) on Open Book Toronto.

Marianne Apostolides is also taking on the car town with a reading in Susan Holbrook’s creative writing class at the University of Windsor on Thursday, March 4.

I recommend you invite her out for a pint at the thoroughly rad Phog Lounge if you’re in the area.
